Live events, produced right.

I'm Jared Godshalk, a self-employed live event production professional based in Grand Prairie, Texas. I bring eight years of technical direction experience to live audio, multi-camera video, and streaming production — the person you call when the show has to run clean, on cue, every time.

Services

Contract production services for live events — hired per show, per series, or as a technical lead for your production team. My work centers on the audio, video, and streaming technology behind live events and the consumer experiences around them — from the mixing console to the stream.

Audio

Live Audio Mixing

Front-of-house and monitor mixing for live events, with deep experience on large-format digital consoles including Allen & Heath and DiGiCo platforms — a clean, consistent mix that serves the room and the people in it.

Video

Multi-Camera Video Production

Directing and switching multi-camera live video, including image magnification (IMAG), so every seat in the house — and every viewer on the stream — stays connected to what's happening on stage.

Streaming

Live Streaming Production

Livestream production run as one coordinated show: the broadcast mix, the camera feed, and the stream itself, so your online audience gets the same event as the room.

Direction

Event Technical Direction

Technical leadership for the whole production — advancing the show, coordinating audio, video, and streaming, building the run of show, and directing the team when it's live.

Consulting

Show Production Consulting

Planning a production, upgrading a system, or building a team that can run it week after week? I advise on show design, equipment and workflow decisions, and production processes drawn from years of running live operations — so your team can execute with confidence long after the consult ends.

Background

A career built in live production — behind the console, behind the switcher, and at the head of the production team.

My background spans live event production, show production, and media operations. From 2018 to 2026 I served as a Technical Director, directing live production operations end to end — the planning, the people, and the technology behind recurring live events.

On the audio side, that meant mixing on digital consoles from Allen & Heath and DiGiCo. On the video side, it meant multi-camera live production — directing cameras and switching the live feed for both the room and the stream. Running those disciplines as one operation is what technical direction is, and it's the perspective I now bring to clients as an independent professional.
